Inspired by America's founding ideals of liberty and limited government, our mission is to educate, advocate, and litigate in favor of free market and constitutional principles for the people of Mississippi.
MCPP delivers tangible results because we have built real capabilities that are setting the agenda in our state.
MCPP is guided by a board of Mississippi business, civic and legal leaders committed to liberty, free markets and the future of our state.

Over the past five years he has led MCPP through a period of major free-market reform in the state — from labor-market deregulation in 2021 and tax reform in 2022 to school-funding reform in 2024 and the 2025 vote to eliminate the income tax. Once a laggard, Mississippi is now among the fastest-improving economies in the country.
Previously a Member of the British Parliament for 12 years, Douglas co-founded Vote Leave, the official Brexit campaign, and is the author of five books. Born in Britain and raised in Uganda, he came to America by choice and lives in Flowood with his wife Clementine and daughter Kitty.
